Renewal of advertising for the 2008-2009 term has now concluded. If you missed it, there is still plenty of space available for mid-term or one-time advertisers. Despite the increased costs to print a larger newsletter, in general, pricing and specifications have not changed from 2007-2008 and are as follows: |

Flat charge of $100.00 added to annual advertisement cost.
(to have different ads appear across multiple issues – ads must be submitted in advance, either all at once prior to the August deadline or half in August and half by the January deadline for the February issue) |

Specifications for Submission of Ad Copy |
Submissions announcing new locations, services, staff, etc. are considered announcements, for which there is no charge. Employment opportunities are considered advertising. The OVAA is not responsible to design your ad for you. You may design your ad in-house, contract out to a designer of your choice, or retain and pay directly the designers at Hyper-Media (See ad on Page 2).
RESOLUTION – 300 dpi is ideal (no less than 120 dpi)
FORMAT – Ads should be submitted in electronic format – not by hard copy or fax.
EPS, PDF, TIFF or JPEG are preferred - please ensure all fonts are converted to vector outline
COLOUR – Full Colour. Make sure all files are in CMYK (The newsletter is digitally printed). |
OVAA Advertisement Change Policy |
Mid-term ad changes (and any changes they in turn make necessary) will be charged to the advertiser. These costs will be assessed based on the cost charged by the printer to make the changes. Should you require a change to your advertisement, please submit your reviewed ad copy already completed. |
Advertising Placement |
With a few exceptions, ad positions are not guaranteed. Ads are subject to movement within the newsletter, depending on our other requirements and ad space is awarded at renewal on a first come, first served basis. |
OVAA Website Advertising |
All newsletter advertisers are listed on the OVAA’s website at www.ovaa.org under the Resources tab. For those who do not wish to advertise in the newsletter but who would like to be included on the website, there is an annual fee of $25.00. Interested parties should contact Jason Hess. |
