Environmental Solutions Remediation Services will be the guest speaker at the OVAA's March 17/09 to be held at Biagio's Restaurant on Wellington Street. Their discussion will center on the services and issues we; as adjusters, should be aware of and examine when we retain the services of an environmental specialist for a pollution spill. The presentation is titled "The Dirt on Clean - The Key Performance Indicators for an Adjuster Handling a Hydrocarbon Spill" The items to be reviewed will be:

5/ Quantum Control

6/ Reporting

7/ File Management

8/ Long Term Liability

The presenters will be:

Mike Laberge BES, CRM, CIP

Mike is Assistant Vice President of ESRS and is currently the national business manager for the firm. Mike has a degree from The University of Waterloo in Environmental Studies; he holds a Certified Risk Managers designation and is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Professionals. He has over 23 years experience in claims including several years on the management team of a large national adjusting firm.

Bruce Campbell P.Geo.

Bruce is a new addition to the ESRS team having joined the firm as a Senior Environmental Geoscientist in December 2008 after having spent the last fifteen years employed as an environmental scientist with two national engineering firms. Bruce specializes in hydrocarbon spill remediation investigations and remediation techniques
